Connect Docfarm to Claude

The Docfarm connector lets an AI assistant work in your document farm for you: publish a page and get a share link in seconds, edit live documents with surgical patches, duplicate and remix existing docs, check who viewed what, and manage sharing settings — all from a conversation.

How to connect

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste this URL:

https://docfarm-mcp.vercel.app/mcp

Claude will send you through a standard sign-in: log in with your Docfarm account (Google or email) and approve access. That’s it — the tools appear in your next conversation. The same URL works in other MCP-capable assistants (ChatGPT, and any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol).

What you can ask for

How it works

Docs live in your Docfarm account, not in the chat. The assistant reads and edits them through scoped tools: reading tools are marked read-only (they can run without confirmation), while anything destructive — like deleting a doc — always asks first. Edits to a shared doc you don’t own either land directly (if the owner allowed it) or automatically fork into your own copy; the original is never overwritten without the owner’s standing permission. Share links update in place, so a link you already sent always shows the latest version.

Security & privacy

The connector authenticates with OAuth 2.0 (with PKCE) — your password is never shared with the assistant. Access tokens are signed and expire automatically. All traffic is HTTPS; documents are stored encrypted in the EU. Details in our privacy policy and on the security page.
